Staff Frontend Software Engineer

Machine learning infrastructure

  • Set technical direction as lead for Gen AI Studio, a platform enabling rapid generative AI application development adopted by hundreds of Airbnb engineers.
  • Owned the end-to-end frontend architecture for ML engineers, shaping the experience for model evaluation, dataset and prompt management, and iteration across the AI development lifecycle.
  • Partnered closely with ML, infra, and product stakeholders to translate complex ML workflows into intuitive, developer-friendly interfaces.

Community support platform

  • Led technical strategy for Ambassador Productivity, directing the design and development of performant, user-centric tools empowering 15,000+ Airbnb ambassadors.
  • Influenced company-wide hiring quality by leading the frontend working group that established consistent interview questions and rubrics across all of engineering.

Twitter
  • Tech lead for the revenue and ads management team; led development of key applications to help monetize Twitter ads.
  • Designed a survey system to measure ad impact across randomized experiments.
  • Deeply involved in standardizing the hiring process of engineers across the org.
  • Developed several UI components used across the entire company.
  • Built batch processing pipelines to enable various Twitter Ads analytics use cases.

  • Led a redesign effort across Bing Ads to bring the UI a more consistent look.
  • Improved productivity by setting up hot-reloading, automated formatting, linting, and source map generation across the system.
  • Built unit, integration, and E2E tests for Bing Ads.
